Student-led conferences will happen September 4 & 5th. Parents will receive an email from the school when the link is live and can schedule an appointment with your child’s classroom teacher here: https://hves.schoolappointments.com/.
This means there is no school for students at Hidden Valley on Friday September 5th!
What are student-led conferences?
The student, parent(s) and teacher will meet together to talk about the learning that will happen throughout the school year. Student-led conferences let the student takes the lead in presenting their academic progress, achievements, and areas for improvement this provides them with ownership of their learning and allows for a more personalized discussion about their education.
This is an opportunity for parents to have an opportunity to talk with your child’s teacher about strengths and areas of progress, look at and discuss work samples, talk about the areas of improvement and discuss ways to support your son or daughter with their learning.
